Hometrack working in partnership with HSBC is shortlisted for their climate change risk solution for the Best Use of Technology Credit Risk category of the Credit Awards 2021.
The product is driven by expertise from Ambiental, the market-leading provider of flood data and analytics, and from Terrafirma,
a leading firm of geologists, soil scientists and engineers who are reshaping the future of ground risk modelling.
The Climate Change Risk product brings together key risk components in a single tool tailored to the requirements of HSBC. It looks at assessing climate risk exposure across its current and future lending portfolios.
HSBC joins a growing list of mortgage lenders the Hometrack climate change partnership is working with, including Leeds Building Society, Yorkshire Building Society, Principality Building Society and Virgin Money.
Often termed "The Oscars of the Credit industry", the Credit Awards take place on 14 December 2021 at Grosvenor House, London.
