We are actively monitoring Storm Christoph and have conducted a review of the post codes which fall within the flood alert zones, and the subsequent number of properties that are likely to be within the event footprint.
England and Wales have been experiencing prolonged bouts of heavy rain as Storm Christoph swept the nation. On 20th January firefighters and police evacuated 2,000 homes and businesses in South Manchester, with 3,000 properties said to be at risk. Then on Friday, 22nd January the Environment Agency confirmed that around 400 homes had been flooded.
